    Ericsson Canada to showcase LTE technology at its Montreal R&D Centre

    MONTREAL, May 25 /CNW/ -

    
    WHAT:  On May 27, Ericsson Canada will demonstrate Long Term Evolution
           (LTE) technology at its Montreal R&D Centre. LTE, often referred
           to as 4G technology, represents the future of global wireless
           communications with access speeds 20 times faster than most
           current high-speed home connections.

           Ericsson will also demonstrate a variety of other consumer and
           business focused technologies designed to enable communications in
           the 21st century.

           The tour includes a visit of the Montreal R&D Centre; the
           company's largest outside of Sweden. The R&D Centre is responsible
           for developing many of the wired and wireless innovations that
           will be on display.
