Media Advisory - Environmental Groups Launch High-Profile Campaign For Endangered Species Legislation in BC

    WHO:     Representatives from four of BC's leading environmental groups
             (David Suzuki Foundation, ForestEthics, Ecojustice and
             Wilderness Committee) will be joined by Mayor of Whistler Ken
             Melamed and Kai Chan, Canada Research Chair (Biodiversity and
             Ecosystem Services), Institute for Resources, Environment &
             Sustainability, UBC. The groups are launching a high-profile
             campaign calling for endangered species legislation and taking a
             poke at BC's identity as "The Best Place on Earth."

    WHAT:    Endangered Species Campaign Launch
             Logo unveiling and campaign technical briefing, including video
             PSA screening.

    WHEN:    Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 1:00pm - 1:30pm

             Vancouver, BC

    INTERVIEWS:        10min Q&A and one-on-one interviews with guest
