Media Advisory - ENMAX Energy Shepard Energy Centre Open House



    CALGARY, June 22 /CNW/ - ENMAX Energy first introduced its intention to
build and operate the Shepard Energy Centre to the public in March 2008. The
facility, an 800 megawatt natural gas-fired power generation facility, is
proposed to be located on the east side of Calgary just south of Glenmore
Trail and approximately 1.8 km east of 84th Street SE. An information session
for the Shepard Energy Centre will be held this week to share more details on
the project.
    ENMAX Energy is committed to community engagement and a comprehensive
program has been developed for interested parties to learn about the project
and share their comments or concerns. Through information packages, community
open houses, and personal meetings, ENMAX Energy looks forward to building
long-term relationships with the community, ensuring all questions and
