Media Advisory - Empty your pockets and leave your spare change with GO's volunteers for the United Way



    TORONTO, Nov. 13, 2007 /CNW/ -

    
    What:    GO Transit will be collecting spare change to donate to the
             United Way. GO is asking its thousands of customers to drop off
             their extra change and brighten up the lives of those in need.
             GO has raised over $50,000 for the United Way through its
             Spare Change Day since the first event in 2001. A little change
             can go a long way!

    When:    Wednesday, November 14, 2007
             Morning and evening rush hours
             6:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

    Where:   Union Station GO Transit concourse
             140 Bay St., south of Front St., downtown Toronto

    Who:     GO's Transit Enforcement unit will lead other GO employees as
             they collect donations from the thousands of GO Transit
             customers who pass through Union Station during the rush hours.
