Media Advisory - Education Quality and Accountability Office to release school and board literacy test results and full provincial report



    TORONTO, June 12 /CNW/ - At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, the
Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) will release student
achievement results by school and school board for the Ontario Secondary
School Literacy Test. Schools and boards will be able to speak about their
individual results at that time.
    EQAO will also release its full report entitled Ontario Student
Achievement: EQAO's Provincial Report on the Results of the 2006-2007 Ontario
Secondary School Literacy Test, which will include achievement results by
subgroup (e.g., gender, ESL), contextual data, a summary of findings,
strategies for learning and profiles of successful schools.
    The provincial report and school, school board and provincial results
will be posted on EQAO's Web site, at www.eqao.com.
