Media Advisory - Education Quality and Accountability Office to release Literacy Test results by school and board and full Provincial Report



    TORONTO, June 10 /CNW/ - At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday June 11, 2008, the
Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) will release Ontario
Secondary School Literacy Test student achievement results by school and
school board. Schools and boards will be available to speak to their
individual results at that time.
    EQAO will also publish a full report entitled Ontario Student
Achievement: EQAO's Provincial Report on the Results of the 2007-2008 Ontario
Secondary School Literacy Test, which will include achievement results by
subgroup (e.g. gender, English-language learner), contextual data, a summary
of findings, strategies for learning and profiles of successful schools.
    The provincial report and school, school board and provincial results
will be posted on the EQAO Web site, www.eqao.com.
