OTTAWA, Oct. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - On Wednesday, October 15th a one-day trip
of a lifetime to Walt Disney World, Florida will be provided to 96 local
children with special needs ranging from serious physical, mental or social
circumstances. More than 70 volunteers from the Ottawa Chapter of Dreams Take
Flight, a non-profit organization run voluntarily by Air Canada employees,
retirees, family and friends, will travel with the children so they can leave
their troubles behind and enjoy a day at the most magical place on Earth.
Dreams Take Flight will provide everything the children need to enjoy their
special day including transportation, medical care, entry into Disney's Magic
Kingdom, meals and even souvenirs!

Arrival of the children at Canada Reception Centre: 4:15 a.m.
Boarding: 5:00 a.m.
Departure from Ottawa: 5:30 a.m.
Return to Canada Reception Centre: 11:53 p.m.

WHO: Approximately 96 children from the Ottawa/Gatineau region,
selected through local agencies such as Children at Risk
Ottawa, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Ottawa
Children's Treatment Centre, Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa and
Les Centres jeunesse de l'Outaouais.
WHY: Since 1989, various divisions of Air Canada have donated their
time to organize the trip of a lifetime for physically,
mentally or socially challenged children to Walt Disney for a
