Media Advisory - Dedication of Memorial Plaque to TTC worker killed in 2007 subway accident



    TORONTO, April 23 /CNW/ - A ceremony will be held this morning to
dedicate a Memorial Plaque in honour of Anthony Almeida, the Toronto Transit
Commission worker killed in a workplace accident in the Yonge Street subway
tunnel near Eglinton on April 23, 2007.
    In attendance will be Almeida's widow, Sonya, many of Almeida's
co-workers, Bob Kinnear, President of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 113, and
officials of the TTC.
