Media Advisory - Daily Bread asks Toronto to "Brown Bag it for Hunger"

Fall Drive launches in Greektown with help from Jackman kids

    TORONTO, Sept. 24 /CNW/ -

WHAT: Daily Bread Food Bank kicks off the annual Fall Drive, urging
Toronto to support efforts to get food to those who need it
most in our community. Last year, over 950,000 people accessed
a food bank in the GTA and 34% of those clients were children.

Gail Nyberg will share the goals of the drive and remind the
public how to donate and to keep an eye out for the brown bag
that traditionally signals the beginning of the fall campaign.
Children from Jackman Community Day Care will arrive with the
drive's first official food donations, focusing on the
nutritious, non-perishable food Daily Bread Food Bank looks
              for.
