Media Advisory - Construction begins on Durham Consolidated Courthouse



    OSHAWA, ON, June 27 /CNW/ - Minister of Public Infrastructure Renewal
David Caplan, Attorney General Michael Bryant, Pickering-Ajax-Uxbridge MPP
Wayne Arthurs and Oshawa Mayor John Gray will officially launch the start of
construction of the Durham Consolidated Courthouse.
    The new courthouse will consolidate justice services currently provided
in eight locations across Durham Region and will be the first new Ontario
government building to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
(LEED) silver certification for incorporating environmentally-sustainable
construction.

    TIME:      9:00 a.m.
    LOCATION:  Future site of the new Durham Consolidated Courthouse
               Oshawa
               The event will take place on William Street, between
               Division and Mary Streets.
