GATINEAU, QC, June 19 /CNW Telbec/ - In a joint effort, the National
Grand Chief Guillaume Carle of the Confederation of Aboriginal People of
Canada and Guy Frigon the Provincial Grand Chief of the Confederation of
Aboriginal People of Quebec invites you to the press conference that will be
held on Tuesday June 19th 2007 at 13h30 at the Parliament Hill of Ottawa,
Center Block, Place 130-S, Charles Lynch room.
During this press conference, the Provincial Grand Chief Guy Frigon, will
be informing the media "on the different serious threats that the governments
has delivered and directed towards the National Grand Chief Guillaume Carle."
Following Grand Chief Frigon's intervention, the National Grand Chief of
the Confederation of Aboriginal Peoples of Canada will be announcing "the
impacts that the threats have had on the Quebec Aboriginal communities and the
Mega Gathering in general."
To conclude, the Grand Chiefs will denounce what they believe to be the
provocation to violence by the police encouraged by the governments implicated
in this whole affair.
