QUEBEC CITY, April 13 /CNW Telbec/ - MP Luc Harvey, on behalf of the
Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, will take part in a
ceremony of remembrance at the Vimy Cross with Quebec Premier Jean Charest.
The event is organized by the Royal 22nd Regiment in partnership with Veterans
Affairs Canada and will be attended by Veterans and the general public. During
the ceremony, the young Champs of the War Amps will plant 26 replicas of the
Vimy Cross in honor of the 26 soldiers of the 22nd Battalion who died during
the Battle of Vimy Ridge. After the ceremony, performer and emcee Tex Lector
will share L'Odyssée de Rosalie with the guests. Rosalie was the rifle that
belonged to his father during the First World War. The Royal 22nd Regiment
Museum will then welcome the guests to the opening of the exhibit Barbelés et
