Media Advisory - Ceremony at the Vimy Cross and story-telling of "L'Odyssée de Rosalie" - Open house at the Citadelle de Québec



    QUEBEC CITY, April 10 /CNW Telbec/ - MP Luc Harvey, on behalf of the
Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, will take part in a
ceremony of remembrance at the Vimy Cross organized by the Royal 22nd Regiment
in partnership with Veterans Affairs Canada. The event will be attended by
young people, Veterans, the general public and an elected representative of
the government of Quebec. After the ceremony, performer and emcee Tex Lector
will share L'Odyssée de Rosalie with the guests. Rosalie was the rifle that
belonged to his father during the First World War. The Royal 22nd Regiment
Museum will then welcome the guests to the opening of the exhibit Barbelés et
coquelicots.
