Media Advisory - Canadians get set to "Walk So Kids Can Talk" at the eighth annual Walk For Kids Help Phone

TORONTO, April 28 /CNW/ - On Sunday, May 3rd, walkers from across Ontario
will join thousands of Canadians from coast to coast, in the eighth annual
Walk for Kids Help Phone. Walk events are taking place in 22 communities in
Ontario, as well as more than 50 others across Canada.
Last year, the Walk for Kids Help Phone raised $3 million to help support
Canada's only toll-free, confidential and anonymous phone and online
counselling, information and referral service for children and youth.
In 2009, Kids Help Phone is celebrating 20 years of being there for kids
in communities across Canada. Ontario residents are invited to help celebrate
by walking so kids can talk about the issues and questions that are important
to them.
