TORONTO, Oct. 30 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of the Canadian Olympic
Committee (COC) will be meeting November 1st in Quebec City, Quebec. Media are
invited to observe the meeting and select members of the COC Board of
Directors will be available for comment at the conclusion of the meeting, at
approximately 4:30 p.m. Electronic media will also have the opportunity to
film background shots of the meeting room to augment their interview coverage.
Among other reports, agenda items for the meeting include: a post-
Beijing 2008 Olympic Games report by Canadian Olympic Team Chef de Mission
Sylvie Bernier; the ratification of the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games bid
and a report from the bid committee; and an update on preparations for the
Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
