Media Advisory - Canadian Nursing Leaders Focus on Long-Term Care Issues at National Meeting in St. John's



    ST. JOHN'S, NL, June 5 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Federation of Nurses
Unions (CFNU) begins its second day with a plenary session on long-term care.
The session features speakers from the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy, VON
Canada and others.
    More than 700 nurses from across the country are attending the four-day
meeting, under the theme "Solidarity without boundaries."

    Founded in 1981, the CFNU is the largest organization of nurses in Canada
with 135,000 affiliated members from coast to coast.
