Media Advisory - Canadian Newspaper Association releases 4th Annual CNA Freedom of Information Audit



    OTTAWA, Jan. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - On Saturday January 10, CNA newspapers will
be publishing news stories concerning the results of the fourth annual CNA
National FOI Audit.
    Two hundred and nineteen access to information requests were mailed to 22
municipal governments and their police services, 10 provinces and Yukon, and
11 federal departments and crown corporations. The audit grades three levels
of government based on speed and completeness of disclosure.
    The results, along with a news release, national "report card," and
highlights will be available on the CNA website at www.cna-acj.ca once they
have appeared in Canada's daily newspapers.
