Media Advisory - Canada kicks off Countdown to One Million Internet Domain Names



    OTTAWA, March 31 /CNW Telbec/ - In early April 2008 Canada will surpass
the registration of one million dot-ca (.ca) domain names.
    Representatives from the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA),
the organization responsible for managing dot-ca domain name registrations,
and John Demco, founder of the dot-ca in 1987 at the University of British
Columbia, will be available for interviews and comments on this Canadian
Internet milestone from March 31, 2008 to April 3, 2008 in Vancouver.
    CIRA will also be available at the Massive Technology Show, Vancouver
