Media Advisory - Cameco and UOIT to announce significant research partnership in support of School of Energy Systems and Nuclear Science



    OSHAWA, ON, April 12 /CNW/ - On Thursday, April 12, the University of
Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and Cameco Corporation, the world's
largest low-cost uranium producer, will make an important research partnership
announcement about UOIT's School of Energy Systems and Nuclear Science.
    The announcement, which will include financial details about the
partnership, will have a significant impact on the research direction of
Ontario's only laptop-based university including its ability to enhance the
fundamental and applied knowledge of students and equip graduates of the
Nuclear Power, Energy Systems, Nuclear Engineering, and Health Physics and
Radiation Science programs with the advanced knowledge required to secure
successful careers in the nuclear industry.
