Media Advisory - Brad Gushue Fuels Dreams of Local Halifax Students To Kick Off Canadian Olympic Committee's Congress



    HALIFAX, April 18 /CNW/ - On Friday, April 20, as part of the Canadian
Olympic Committee's Community Outreach Program, presented by Petro-Canada,
Olympic curling gold medallist Brad Gushue will inspire Portland Estates
Elementary School students in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to follow their dreams.
    In addition to Gushue, the COC's Community Outreach Program will pair
nine other prominent Olympic athletes with 20 schools in the Halifax region
for a series of inspirational sessions. Petro-Canada will also launch a
special program, the Fuelling the Dream School Contest, at Portland Estates
Elementary.

    Who:    Brad Gushue, 2006 Olympic curling gold medallist, will be onsite
            interacting with students from Portland Estates Elementary
            School.
