Bloordale residents and businesses in the area of Bloor Street West between Dufferin and Lansdowne



What:        

BIG on Bloor Festival, West Toronto's most original two-day summer street celebration of arts, business and culture.



Where:      

Bloor Street West between Dufferin Street and Lansdowne Avenue



When:       

Saturday, August 22 (1 p.m.- 9 p.m.) and
Sunday, August 23 (Noon – 6 p.m.)



Why:        

Paid-duty police officers required to open and close city streets are not available in July for BIG on Bloor work as normal because of Pan Am Games security needs this summer. BIG on Bloor Festival organizers are moving the 8th annual street celebration to August for this year only to avoid any conflict with events planned for the Games.
