    OTTAWA, Nov. 1 /CNW Telbec/ - The Ottawa Chapter of Osteoporosis Canada
is pleased to host its 5th annual Bone China Tea:

    
    Date:       Sunday, November 4, 2007
    Time:       2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Silent Auction starts at 1:00 pm)

                3750 North Bowesville Road, Ottawa
    

    The tea raises money to support Osteoporosis Canada's work in research,
advocacy, education and patient support.
    This year's event, themed "Being dense is a good thing" features emcee
Rita Celli, Host of CBC RadioOne's popular noon show "Ontario Today". Ontario
Minister of Health Promotion Jim Watson will be present, and Dr. Elaine Jolly,
Medical Director of the Shirley E Greenberg Women's Health Center, will
deliver the keynote address.
    Osteoporosis is a disease that causes bone tissue to deteriorate leading
to fragile bones and fractures. 1.4 million Canadians have osteoporosis.
