Media Advisory - Assembly of First Nations National Chief Phil Fontaine and CAW President Buzz Hargrove to celebrate clean well water in Little Salmon Carmacks Yukon



    OTTAWA, Aug. 25 /CNW Telbec/ - Assembly of First Nations National Chief
Phil Fontaine and Canadian Auto Workers union President Buzz Hargrove will
visit the community of Little Salmon Carmacks to celebrate the work completed
this summer by CAW volunteers.
    This is the latest successful corporate partnership venture between CAW
and the AFN. CAW volunteers worked over the summer with community members to
resolve the community's long standing issue of poor water quality in 85
individual community wells. To date volunteers have completed work on 27
wells.
