Media Advisory - Alberta Water Council to report on progress of province's Water for Life strategy



    CALGARY, April 30 /CNW/ - The Alberta Water Council, the
multi-stakeholder partnership organization established in 2004 to oversee the
implementation of the Government of Alberta's Water for Life strategy, will
release its Review of Implementation Progress of Water for Life, 2005-2006 at
12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, at the Bow River Watershed Science Forum being held
at the University of Calgary.
    The report includes an objective review and analysis of the province's
progress on implementation of the strategy over the past year, and provides
some key recommendations on priorities and activities for the future.
