Media advisory - Alberta municipalities take concerns to Ottawa



    OTTAWA, May 11 /CNW Telbec/ - A delegation from the Alberta Urban
Municipalities Association (AUMA) will be in Ottawa from May 13 to May 15 to
talk to Cabinet ministers and Members of Parliament about the challenges
facing Alberta communities.
    Leading AUMA's inaugural Parliament Hill advocacy days will be AUMA
President Lloyd Bertschi, Mayor of Morinville, Alta.; Mayor Glenn Taylor of
Hinton, Alta.; Alderman Ric McIver of Calgary, Alta.; and Mayor Darren Aldous
of the Village of Breton, Alta.
    In addition to meetings, the delegation will host a reception for Members
of Parliament on May 13.
    Delegates will be available for wrap-up interviews on May 15.
