CALGARY, Feb. 25 /CNW/ - On Friday, February 27, 2009, through the
Children's Miracle Network Champions Across Canada Program Presented by
Walmart Canada, the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation will introduce as
its 2009 Children's Miracle Network Champion Child - an amazing young lady who
has beat a rare blood disorder.
The media is invited to join the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation
and Walmart Canada on Friday and learn about how the Alberta Children's
Hospital is now using bone marrow transplants to cure children with diseases
other than cancer.
Special guests and speakers at the event will include Dr. Victor Lewis, a
bone marrow transplant specialist at the Alberta Children's Hospital; Brad
Baker, District Manager, Wal-Mart Canada and Justin Shenher, 2008 Children's
Miracle Network Champion Child.
