Media Advisory - 2008 Bike Train Celebrates First Departure with Launch Event



    TORONTO, June 11 /CNW/ - The award-winning Bike Train initiative will
celebrate the start of its 2008 summer season on Friday, June 27 with a media
event at Union Station in Toronto. The Bike Train launched in summer 2007,
introduced bike racks onboard select VIA Rail departures between Toronto and
Niagara Falls. It is anticipated that over 500 cyclists will travel on the
Bike Train this summer.
