    TORONTO, March 6 /CNW/ - More than 600 Catholic teachers from across
Ontario, local representatives of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers'
Association (OECTA), will be in Toronto for their Annual General Meeting this
weekend. OECTA represents the 36,000 men and women who teach in all grades in
Ontario's publicly funded English Roman Catholic schools.
    Throughout the three-day event, delegates will elect the 2007-08
Provincial Executive and a new president, debate education issues and
establish by-laws and policies.
    Reporters are welcome throughout the meeting, but will not be permitted
to enter the room without valid OECTA media pass. Please report to the staff
at the Registration Desk in the foyer of the Metro Ballroom to present
credentials and pick up media passes.
