TORONTO, Sept. 25 /CNW/ - The 16th annual Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure will take place in 53 communities across the
country on Sunday, September 30. The largest volunteer-led, single day
fundraising event in support of breast cancer, the Run unites Canadians in
communities from Victoria to St. John's.
WHO: Families, friends, colleagues, neighbours and survivors who
have been affected by breast cancer, as well as dedicated
volunteers and sponsors of the Run.
WHAT: The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is
Canada's largest volunteer-led, single-day fundraising event in
support of breast cancer. Participants walk or run their choice
of one or five kilometres. Funds raised by the Run go to
support national and regional breast cancer research, education
and awareness programs that are helping to save lives.
