Office To Provide Support And Resources To Local Small Business Community
KINGSVILLE, ON, Sept. 5 /CNW/ - The Windsor Essex Small Business
Enterprise Centre Satellite Office in Kingsville officially opened its doors
for business today. Minister of Small Business and Entrepreneurship Harinder
Takhar and local MPP Bruce Crozier were in Kingsville for the opening.
"Small and medium-sized businesses are the engine of Ontario's economy,"
said Takhar. "This new office will give local small businesses the tools they
need to develop and grow, leading to job creation and increased prosperity."
The satellite office will support local small business owners and
entrepreneurs during their early years of operation by providing consulting
services, business training and information about management, marketing,
technology and financing.
"Our government is committed to supporting small businesses and
entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses and contribute to the local
economy," said Bruce Crozier, MPP for Essex. "The new Kingsville Small
Business Satellite Office will provide valuable information and counselling to
businesses whose success is critical to the long term prosperity of our
Sabrina DeMarco, manager of the Windsor Essex Small Business Enterprise
Centre says that the new Kingsville Satellite Office will provide local
entrepreneurs with greater access to essential programs and services.
"Our existing office in downtown Windsor already does a great job serving
the local small business community," said DeMarco. "This new office will
greatly improve our services to the surrounding county communities and make it
easier for residents to access information and resources available to small

Small Business Enterprise Centres provide support to start-up and small
enterprises during their initial years of development and operation and
deliver youth entrepreneurship programs, including Summer Company.
"The opening of this office is another example of the McGuinty
government, municipalities and local business communities working together to
build a stronger Ontario," said Takhar. "Together, we are encouraging the
growth of small businesses, promoting entrepreneurship, and ensuring Ontario
