Jeff Stroud named Payments Industry Champion
TORONTO, Oct. 27 /CNW/ - MasterCard Canada is pleased to announce that
Jeff Stroud, Director, Advanced Payments has won ACT Canada's 2008 Champion's
Award. Founded in 1997, the Champion's Award is awarded to individuals who
have had a significant impact in expanding the Canadian payments industry.

With over 17 years of payments industry experience, Mr. Stroud is easily
one of the most recognized industry experts on chip technology. For the last
two years, he has been involved with MasterCard Canada's migration to chip
Mr. Stroud holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics for Commerce
from York University and a Programmer Analyst diploma from Honeywell Institute
for Continuing Studies. Mr. Stroud currently holds the designation of
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
