Manulife Financial makes significant contribution to Concordia University - Major gift to support professorship and amphitheatre in new John Molson School of Business building



    MONTREAL, Oct. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - Concordia University announced today a
major gift from Manulife Financial toward a Professorship in Financial
Planning and the construction of an amphitheatre in the new John Molson School
of Business building, which is being built at the University's downtown
Sir George Williams Campus.
    The professorship will provide for the teaching of and research into
financial planning, as well as risk, investment and portfolio management. The
120-seat amphitheatre, which will function as a classroom and public lecture
hall, will be equipped with the latest audio and visual technologies.
