Major maintenance work during the weekend on Highway 15, between Atwater and Nuns' Island.

LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 26 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain
Bridges Incorporated wishes to inform the public and particularly users of
Highway 15 (between Atwater and the Nun's Island Bridge), that major
maintenance work will impact weekend traffic on October 26, 27, and 28, 2007.
To date, three of four concrete beams have been replaced on the overpass
near Wellington. The final phase of this project to replace the fourth
concrete beam, will affect traffic flow throughout the weekend (lane reduction
and two-way traffic on Highway 15 and impacts on the Northbound ramp to the
overpass as well as to traffic lanes that pass underneath the structure).
Motorists will therefore have to employ detour routes that will be in place
and pass through reconfigured traffic lanes.
The Corporation regrets any inconvenience the repairs may cause and
strongly encourages users to consider alternate routes during this weekend.
