Major maintenance work during the weekend on Highway 15

LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain
Bridges Incorporated wishes to inform the public and particularly users of the
Highway 15 overpass (between Wellington Street and the Nun's Island Bridge),
that major maintenance work will impact weekend traffic on October 12 13, and
14, 2007.
The replacement of concrete beams will affect traffic flow throughout the
weekend (lane reduction and two-way traffic on Highway 15 and impacts on the
Northbound ramp to the overpass as well as to traffic lanes that pass
underneath the structure.
The Corporation regrets any inconvenience the repairs may cause and
encourages users to consider alternate routes during this weekend.
To minimize the impact on traffic, mitigation measures will be put in
place, namely traffic detours and reconfiguration of traffic lanes.
The final phase of this project is scheduled for the weekend of October
26, 27 and 28, 2007.
