ST. JOHN'S, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - The Newfoundland and Labrador chapter of the
International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) announced today
that m5pr, a St. John's-based public relations agency, has come on board as a
gold level sponsor for this year's IABC Pinnacle Awards Gala in St. John's.

The Pinnacle Awards, which are taking place at Clovelly Golf Course on
June 5 this year, showcase excellence in business communications. The awards
program is comprised of 18 categories divided into three divisions:
communication strategy, communication tactics and communication creative. The
communications strategy division has been expanded this year to include issues
management and crisis communication, human resources and benefit
communication, and brand communication. Awards of excellence for individuals
are also offered.
Colleen O'Leary, president of the local chapter of IABC, said: "The
Pinnacle Awards are open to communications professionals across Newfoundland
and Labrador, both IABC members and non-members. It's a great opportunity to
get recognized for work done in 2007."
