Magellan(R) Names Chris Jensen Director of Sales, Canada



    
    Former Logitech Harmony Consumer Electronics and Navman USA Executive to
    Lead Magellan Sales Efforts in Canada
    

    TORONTO, June 24 /CNW/ -- Magellan, the fastest-growing GPS brand in the
world, today announced that Chris Jensen has joined the company as the
director of sales for Canada, marking the company's first Canadian-based
senior-level executive.  In his new role, Jensen is charged with the growth
and profitability of Magellan's auto navigation products, as well as all
outdoor products in Canada and the United States.

commitment to, and expansion in, the Canadian consumer electronics market.
North American after-market auto navigation shipments in Canada are expected
to increase 69 percent by the end of 2008(*).
    Jensen, who will be based in Mississauga, Ontario, previously served as
the vice president of sales and marketing of Sonic Frontiers International,
regional sales manager of Logitech Harmony Division, and vice president and
general manager of Navman USA.
