Terry Owen Rejoins Macleod Dixon's Calgary Office
CALGARY, April 9 /CNW/ - Macleod Dixon LLP is pleased to announce that
Terry Owen has rejoined its Calgary office as Counsel. Terry began his career
with Macleod Dixon in 1985 and became a partner of the firm in 1993. While at
the firm, Terry practised corporate and securities law. Terry will be
assisting the firm in the areas of client and professional development as well
as strategic planning.

Terry's business background includes roles as President and CEO of a
major bulk transportation company and as a director of several public and
private corporations. Terry recently joined Hammerstone Corporation as
President and CEO. Hammerstone is an industrial minerals company owned by
Tricap Partners II LP which is part of the Brookfield Asset Management Inc.
group of companies. Brookfield is a global asset manager focused on property,
power and other infrastructure assets with approximately $100 billion of
assets under management.
Terry has also been active in numerous charitable and non-profit
organizations over many years. Currently, he is involved with the United Way,
Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation, McCaig Institute for Joint and
Arthritis and the West Calgary Karate Association.
