Flaherty will wear new work shoes manufactured by L.P. Royer for the delivery
of the Budget Speech. This manufacturing company, based in the Eastern
Townships, in Quebec, employs more than a hundred employees and celebrates its
75th anniversary this year. L.P. Royer also launched a "Buy Canadian"
awareness campaign earlier this year to entice consumers to buy Canadian and
keep Canadians at work.
