strong. An increase in restructuring and insolvency, litigation and labour and
employment law is generating demand for legal services in these areas. In
response, law firms are recruiting professionals with relevant experience as
they move swiftly to capitalize on new business opportunities. These and other

"Law firms are in need of top talent to enhance their service offerings
and grow revenue in a highly competitive business environment," said Jonathan

corporate and securities law with litigation management experience
are being recruited by corporations to help them meet ongoing legal
- Restructuring and insolvency lawyers - Lawyers with five or more
years of experience handling complex bankruptcy matters, including
restructuring and litigation, are in demand by law firms.
- Labour and employment lawyers - As organizations consolidate their
resources, there is a heightened demand for lawyers with three or
more years of labour and employment experience.
- Litigation law clerks - Candidates with three to five years of
litigation experience are sought by law firms to provide discovery,
motion and trial preparation support.
