Loblaw Companies Limited identifies parcel of distribution land outside of Regina



    TORONTO, July 29 /CNW/ - Earlier this year, the Province of Saskatchewan
and the Government of Canada announced that an intermodal road/rail facility
outside of the city of Regina will be constructed. Additional lands have or
will be secured by the Province of Saskatchewan for distribution uses which
will be compatible with the intermodal road/rail facility. A parcel of land
within the distribution centre park has been identified by Loblaw Companies
Limited ("Loblaw"). This parcel will be acquired by a third party investor and
a third party logistic provider will operate this facility serving Loblaw
company stores in western Canada.
