    The Canada-Chile Science and Technology workshop was held at the Chilean
Academy of Sciences in Santiago, Chile from October 8-10, 2007 to celebrate
the tenth anniversary of the Chile-Canada Free Trade Agreement. The subject of
the workshop was, "Bioproducts and Processes: Environmental, Scientific, and
Economic Impacts." Dr. Kendall Pye, Lignol's Chief Scientific Officer ("CSO"),
presented at the workshop.

    The Lignin Institute Annual Meeting was held in San Diego, California
from October 10-12. The Lignin Institute is an international trade association
composed of producers and users of lignin- based products. Its members
exchanged information on product specifications, applications, safety and

    The BBI Biofuels Workshop & Trade Show Series took place from October
9-11 in Portland, Oregon. The workshop focused on near-term development of
commercial-scale ethanol and biodiesel production, and provided information
and expertise that specifically targeted regional challenges and opportunities

    The Infocast Cellulosic Ethanol Summit will take place October 15-17 in
Washington, DC. The summit will bring high-level governmental, agricultural,
financial and commercial players together to stimulate the cross-industry
