Liberal Party of Canada holds more nomination meetings in Quebec



    MONTREAL, June 5 /CNW Telbec/ - Denise Verreault and Marc-André
Blanchard, election readiness co-chairs of the Québec wing of the Liberal
Party of Canada, are pleased to announce that additional nomination meetings
will be held to choose official candidates to run in five Quebec ridings, on
the following dates:

    
    - Haute-Gaspésie-La Mitis-Matane-Matapédia, June 13
    - Saint-Bruno-Saint-Hubert, June 17
    - Alfred-Pellan, June 29
    - Mont-Royal, June 30
    - Notre-Dame-de Grâce - Lachine, July 5
    

    Once this new round of meetings has been completed, the Liberal Party of
Canada will have official candidates in 10 of Quebec's 75 ridings, as
confirmed at the announcement of the election readiness committee by the
Honorable Denis Coderre, the party's Quebec lieutenant, at the general council
on March 21 and 22.
    Mr. Coderre has confirmed that all nominating meetings will be held
throughout Quebec over the next few months, through the tireless efforts of
hundreds of supporters, who are more motivated than never.
