TORONTO, June 9 /CNW/ - Baker & McKenzie has expanded its insolvency and
restructuring practice with the addition of a three-partner team to its
Toronto office - Chris Besant, Frank Spizzirri and Lydia Salvi, previously
with Cassels, Brock & Blackwell.
Chris is an internationally recognized insolvency and restructuring
lawyer, and will chair Baker & McKenzie's Canadian Financial Restructuring and
Recovery practice. Chris has significant experience advising clients from a
wide array of industries on all aspects of insolvency law, and is a regular
speaker and prolific writer in the field.
Frank's practice involves all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency work,
with a particular focus on litigation and adversarial proceedings. Lydia's
practice focuses on corporate restructurings, distressed merger and
acquisition transactions, and secured financings. Like Chris, Frank and Lydia
have a broad range of experience across many industries and have been involved
in many of Canada's largest insolvency matters.
