"Pebercan"), (TSX: PBC) Pebercan announces that two of its shareholders,
including a former senior Officer of the Company, have filed a lawsuit in
Québec and are claiming oppression and seeking damages against Pebercan. The
plaintiffs allege oppressive illegal acts by the Company, Peberinvest B.V. as
well as Mr. Michel Reybier, indirect controlling shareholder, Director and
Chairman of the Board of Pebercan. The plaintiffs are seeking damages of
approximately 6 million $ CDN.
The Company categorically denies the merits of the allegations claimed
and intends to vigorously defend itself against this lawsuit.
