TORONTO, Sept. 14 /CNW/ - The Law Society regulates the legal profession
in the public interest. As part of this mandate, the Law Society's Hearing and
Appeal Panels recently heard the following matter. Hearing and Appeal Panels
are composed of Law Society benchers - lawyers and lay people who are
responsible for determining the appropriate disposition of cases.

Decision: Term 1 of the Decision and Order of the Hearing Panel is stayed
pending the earlier of the hearing of the appeal or November 30,2007, or such
other date mutually agreed upon by the parties.
