Laurentian Bank changes its mortgage rates



    MONTREAL, Jan. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Laurentian Bank has changed its mortgage
rates. The changes are as follows:

    6 month open:        from   7.90%  to  7.20%             -0.70%
    6 month close:       from   5.90%  to  5.20%             -0.70%
    6 month convertible: from   7.00%  to  6.30%             -0.70%
    1 year open:         from   8.55%  to  7.45%             -1.10%
    1 year close:        from   5.45%  to  5.00%             -0.45%
    18 month close:      from   5.85%  to  5.05%             -0.80%
    2 year:              from   6.20%  to  5.75%             -0.45%
    3 year:              from   6.20%  to  5.75%             -0.45%
    4 year:              from   6.20%  to  5.70%             -0.50%
    5 year:              from   6.75%  to  5.80%             -0.95%
    6 year:              from   7.00%  to  6.80%             -0.20%
    7 year:              from   7.20%  to  7.00%             -0.20%
    8 year:              from   7.30%  to  7.10%             -0.20%
    9 year:              from   7.30%  to  7.10%             -0.20%
    10 year:             from   7.35%  to  7.15%             -0.20%
    

    These new mortgage rates will be effective as of January 22, 2009.
