organization, is proud to announce the completion of the 59,000 square feet
Hungarian plant expansion bringing the total capacity of the facility to
164,000 square feet. The expansion adds 30 large animal rooms capable of
housing up to 480 animals and has been designed to meet and exceed the new
European animal welfare standards.
"This expanded facility now represents one of the largest dog housing
facility in Europe and will provide our Hungarian site with the necessary
elements to attract a wider range of sponsors for general toxicology services
as well as help promote our existing inhalation toxicology capabilities to the
biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers" said Mr. Mainville, President and
CEO of LAB Research. "With this expansion completed, we have added the
necessary capacity to more than double the site revenues over the coming
