announce the launch of a new public service announcement (PSA), aimed at
promoting awareness for the charity organization. The new PSA features Jann
Arden, Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter, and longtime supporter of Kids

funds and awareness for Kids Help Phone - Canada's only bilingual, toll-free,
anonymous phone and online counselling, information and referral service for
children and youth. And in July 2007, the PSA began appearing as part of the
on-screen advertising at Empire Theatres locations across the country.
Young people can and do turn to Kids Help Phone about every issue
imaginable - from dating and school problems to suicide and abuse. In 2006,
Kids Help Phone's professional counsellors answered 9% more calls than in 2005
and responded to 43% more online posts.
