What makes "The Juicy Give" particularly unique is that it is the
community that will decide who is to be the lucky recipient.
"Our goal is to make as much of a positive impact in our community as
possible". states Jason Mann, General Manager of 103.9 The Juice. Mann adds
"we received 53 amazing submissions seeking support for worthy community
projects in Kelowna and the Okanagan - but only one will win The Juicy Give
and it's up to the community to select the winner."
Public Voting for the Juicy Give commenced Friday June 5, and will
continue until 12:00 Noon Friday June 19, 2009. Voting is taking place online
at www.1039TheJuice.com. The Top 20 most voted submissions will be reviewed by
an independent panel of judges who will determine the Top 10. Once the Top 10
submissions have been selected a second round of voting will take place with
the community ultimately deciding the winner. The "Big Reveal" will take place
during the Michaels & McKinney Morning Show on July 6, 2009.
