Karol Brassard increases his interest in Clemex



    MONTREAL, Oct. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Karol Brassard announced that he has
acquired 366,000 common shares of CLEMEX TECHNOLOGIES INC. (TSX Venture:
CXG.a) ("Clemex") between October 10, 2008 and October 20, 2008, bringing his
total holdings in Clemex to 4,559,300 common shares, representing
approximately 21.9% of the total outstanding common shares of Clemex. The
shares were purchased through the TSX Venture Exchange at an average price of
$0.18 per share. The shares were purchased through normal course purchases
exempt from the take-over bid requirement of the securities legislation.
    Mr. Brassard indicated that the purchased shares are being held for
investment purposes and that he could modify his holdings from time to time.

    Karol Brassard, a resident of Montreal, Québec, is a techno-entrepreneur
who founded Nexxlink Technologies Inc. Nexxlink had annual sales of more than
$125 million and employed more than 900 people across the country when it was
acquired by Bell Canada in 2005.
